Element names unicity

The element names must be unique for all the wiki. This applies to: The conditions for the unicity, and the result of a name clashing, varies depenbding on the element type.

Articles

articles names must be unique for all the wiki (note that the names of the articles are normalized as explained in the naming constraints article).

If two articles have the same name, regardless of their respective packages, the name of the second one will be modified (an index will be added at the end of the article name) and a Disambiguation article will be created.

For example, the two following articles are considered to have the same name:
  • "my article"
  • "my_Article"

Image definitions

image definitions must be unique. Note that the wiki does not consider that two image definitions are identical if the two definitions are in two different packages.

Contrary to articles, their names are not normalized.

Resource definitions
